David Biddle Jr, AIF®

Retirement Plan Associate

Understanding the intricacies of retirement plans is often a daunting task. Employers and retirement plan sponsors have a huge fiduciary responsibility and retirement plan participants often do not know what their plan is or how it works. This is why David Biddle, Jr.’s job is so important. He partners with our Director of Retirement Plans to communicate and implement our BCM Fiduciary System™ with our retirement plans sponsors and participants.

Having grown up in the Biddle household, David has been exposed to the BCM values of integrity, independence and our client-focused culture from a very young age. He has learned that often people find finances and thinking about their future to be overwhelming and even frightening. David has subsequently developed a unique and thoughtful perspective to working with our clients; he seeks to put people at ease with his keen sense of humor and ability to listen to understand.

In his role at BCM, David works to protect retirement plan sponsors and guide positive retirement plan participant outcomes. He is part of the service team that coordinates client contacts, onboarding and implementation of retirement plans, retirement plan investment fund change documentation, employee education and meeting with prospective clients. David also is a licensed life insurance agent and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Designation (AIF®) . He enjoys helping individuals and plan sponsors achieve their financial goals while providing the peace of mind that comes from a fiduciary standard of care.

As a graduate of James Madison University, David has spent many years hiking the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley and continues to enjoy exploring the world on foot; he loves planning outdoor excursions and has most recently conquered the 100-mile wilderness trail in Maine in 5 days! He is an enthusiastic supporter of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
