Matt Tendler, AIF®
Director of Retirement Plans
As a former semi-professional athlete and coach, Matt recognizes the value of having a knowledgeable and competent mentor in your corner. He knows how beneficial it is to have trust in a qualified professional who works to help you clarify goals, achieve objectives, and unlock your potential. As our Director of Retirement Plans, Matt combines our BCM Fiduciary System™ with his experience and talents to expertly coach our retirement plan sponsors and plan participants through the often complex concepts of retirement plans and retirement plan management.
Matt’s diverse background and training makes him uniquely equipped to provide high quality fiduciary services and to empower our clients. Raised working in a family business, Matt learned early on that being prepared is a key element in any plan that you make. A natural athlete, he also spent his youth playing in competitive ice hockey leagues throughout the US and Canada, was NCAA National Champion in 2009, played for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League and was a back-up goalie for the Philadelphia Flyers.
While obtaining degrees in both business and accounting from Neumann University, Matt started his own successful hockey coaching business. After school and off the ice, Matt began working at BCM where he was eager to learn and swiftly became a trusted advisor and key team member.
Matt is a retirement plan specialist with the elite designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), striving to help you update, improve and simplify your current plan. He knows that because of the constant innovation in the 401(k) and 403(b) industry it is important to work with a partner who keeps you ahead of the curve, at the forefront of success.
When not at BCM, Matt says you can probably find him on the ice, or on the golf course. He and his girlfriend also have a new puppy and enjoy volunteering their time and talents at the Providence Animal Shelter in Delaware County, PA.
